I requirement a wood lathe for birdhouse and dollhouse construction.?

The sears craftsman mini-lathe I am looking at will turn up to 12" stock. Have any of you used this? Did it do what you needed?

No, I haven t, but it should be fine.. Your not doing commercial work or heavy duty stuff, I ve other have liked Craftsman products for my light of day to day stuff... GL
