Can someone engineer a gun near a moment ago a mill and lathe?

Is it possible to make an entire pistol with purely a 3-axis mill and a lathe? with the right cuting tools for it. Is it? anyone know? has anyone ever made an homemade gun formerly?

You can engender just about anything near a good mill and lathe.
You can make one out of square in the junkyard if you wanted to unpromising enough but I would not want to be the one to fire it. In theory you could net one that way but it would be very time consuming.
You could do just about everything but rifle a barel. It would pinch a lot of tooling to do the milling on the pistol internals.
