What is a CNC Lathe Machine?
How is it used?
How does it function?
What are the main parts?
Thanks for helping out..

CNC means computer numeric control machine. It is use by the function of microprocessor contained by the cnc unit.according to the manufactures it will loose change.in processor having the some codes(G AND M CODES) for control the operation.for our requirement we write the program and amass in memory.we call the program and do the operation.the program oscillate according to the processor.(some example type of program is fanuc.fagor etc.in this fanuc is most commanly used.).main parts are tools.insert, and processor.contained by cnc we can do turning, milling etc

A CNC Lathe is a computer numerical controlled lathe.
It is used for turning round shapes from various materials, especially plastics, metals, and woods.
It functions by rotationg the workpiece that is to say fixed ridgedly to the spindle. A tool that is fixed on a movable portion of the lathe (cross slide) is then driven into the workpiece until the sharp farthest point of the tool removes workpiece material concentrically (or normally) to the axis of rotation of the spindle.
The main parts are (generally) the spindle, the cross slide, the tailstock, the controller, and the frame. Source(s): Lots of years working on CNC lathes.
a CNC lathe is the same as a brochure lathe except a CNC lathe is controlled by a computer. it is primarialy used to machine round parts such as screws. a CNC lathe have 3-5 axis's, the spindle holds the part and spins as the turret which holds the tool and moves in and make the cut depending on how the user programmed the machine...the cutter in the turret doesn't spin but it does move to clear the cut on the part in the spindle....the key parts are the spindle, the tailstock, the computer, the tool turret and the frame...there are more parts to a cnc lathe than that but those are the most commonly mentioned...
In one of dad’s visits to a metal shop, he be amazed at what multispindle machines can do. So he loaned a small amount from the bank and added his savings to buy a simple metal recycle facility. Then he purchased a second hand multi spindle machine and after later an automatic lathe.
Dad has an amazing PR skill. It be so easy for him to develop and maintain contact to bazaar his turned parts. Source(s): http://www.industrialviews.com/machinery…
A CNC Lathe Machine is a Computer Numerical Controlled (C.N.C.) variation of a standard Lathe. This version is controlled by a computer with the dream of attaining either highly accurate and/or significantly reproducible measurements on a part construction.
A computer feeds background into various controllers (likely step motor controllers) which control the speed of the part anyone turned, the location of the cutting head, situation of the cutting head, and the speed of the adjectives head. Depending on the unit, near can be many different axis controls (typically between 3 to 5, although can go higher).
The two work parts of the device are the stand, which holds the quantity and rotates accordingly, and the cutting organizer. The cutting head can ancient any number of different cutting bits. Source(s): SUNY Canton demonstration, University at Buffalo Machine Shop
