Wood turning lathes within canada?

where can i find a wood turning lathe, for bowls mostly, floor standing at least 3/4hp and any sold in canada or shipped to canada for a sensible price. not $300 shipping as quoted by one company.
i have looked at many models from jet to grizzly and everything in between. i own a budget which would include shipping of $500-$1000.
My last lathe which was when i lived contained by scotland was an axminster which was great. squirt is similar and a preferred option but will consider most brands.
I sold my lathe on craigslist.com.
